4th of July--cookout

We had a cookout in the afternoon at my brother Chris's house. The weather was great, at first, and the kids played well.

Well, like I said, the weather was great....but then it started to rain. Now don't get me wrong...I love the rain and it was fine for me....I think for the kids as well. We had a fire and roasted marshmallows despite the rain.

So, Emma felt great...ate a ton of them. 5 min down the road, heading home, she threw up....and she threw up and she threw up some more. Oh, what a mess--you know how it sinks into every part of the car seat....yuck. Well, I guess Emma really does not feel good still. She has been out of commission all morning....need to rest up for her big day coming up.
