First Monarch of the year

Here is our first Monarch this year.


Here is the next one, you can see in the chrysalis still and it came out later that day.

Just the other day we were sitting outside and we were able to see a Monarch lay her eggs on some milkweed. It was neat watching...when she was finished we brought the milkweed into the house and the eggs just hatched last night so now we have 5 babies just munching away. Willing to share if anyone wants to jump in on the experience....just let me know.
