Grace like Rain

Can you feel it?!

It is pouring down all over you! Look up, close your eyes, taste it on your lips, and then take a drink from the only source that can satisfy your deepest longings.

God's grace is like rain pouring down all over me and my stains are COMPLETELY and TOTALLY washed away.

Carving THE pumpkin

So, last year I blogged about carving pumpkins...(I am too lazy to pull up the old post and link it, so really quick...)They were so excited about carving a pumpkin until I told them it was time to clean it out and they all gave me faces as if I just told them they had to go to bed. I posted the pics below from last year.....

See the looks on their faces?!

A year has gone by. They are a year older. Their initial reaction was the same, but after me comparing pumpkin goo to finger painting, playing in the mud, sticky caramel mess, they agreed to give it a try....

Emma looks ready.

Hannah is freaked out and jumps back as if there is a large snake living in the pumpkin. She is also horrified that Nora is putting her hand in there.

Nora pulls away out of disgust.
Hannah gives it a try but Emma looks on in disgust.
Hannah again pulls away and everyone looks on feeling similar.
Nora again gives it a try, but runs into the bathroom to wash up after every touch.
Hannah gives it a little pinch.
They leave it up to Daddy to do the rest.
