Grace like Rain

Can you feel it?!

It is pouring down all over you! Look up, close your eyes, taste it on your lips, and then take a drink from the only source that can satisfy your deepest longings.

God's grace is like rain pouring down all over me and my stains are COMPLETELY and TOTALLY washed away.

miles to go before I sleep

The girls and I are finishing up our last 5 in a Row book, Robert Frost--Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening with Illustrations by Susan Jeffers. We are on our 2nd day with the book and it is snowing today, there is a layer of ice on top of the snow so we decided to go for one of our snow hikes (with the ice it helps for the kids to not sink down with every step). (Emma took my picture above as we were ready to go)

"Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though,
He will not see me stopping here To watch his woods fill up with snow.My little horse must think it queer To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lakeThe darkest evening of the year.He gives his harness bells a shakeTo ask if there is some mistake. The only other sound's the sweep. Of easy wind and downy flake. The woods are lovely, dark and deep,But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep."

One of my favorite posts ever! Loved it; felt like I was there with you. Might have to copy your idea!
