Grace like Rain

Can you feel it?!

It is pouring down all over you! Look up, close your eyes, taste it on your lips, and then take a drink from the only source that can satisfy your deepest longings.

God's grace is like rain pouring down all over me and my stains are COMPLETELY and TOTALLY washed away.

School

I haven't posted much about school this year but it has still been going on. I have been trying to keep up and be more consistent--which has not been leaving me with much time for other things--like blogging. Hannah and Nora are starting to read. Emma will be finished her 1st grade Math next week and desperately wants to learn cursive. I starting to look into what I would like to teach through the summer. Of course the summer is filled with fun--but learning is fun and 'schooling' does help the girls get along and be creative and it can take place at the beach, park, etc... I am planning on doing Science (I would just rather do it through the summer/fall), Art--(love to do art projects outside--rather than in the house), and I think I will also do 5 in a row (which does not require much time, unless I want it to). Is anyone else thinking of continuing 'school like things' during the summer?

YES!!!! continuing, restarting after a long hiatus, whatever you want to call it...we will be doing school throughout the spring and summer months. but in spite of my neglect and lack of discipline throughout this pregnancy as far as schooling is concerned, i have a little reader on my hands. she's reading everything, and figuring out rules of the english language that we have yet to cover in our phonics studies...makes me feel like a winner even though i've been out of the race for a while.

We do school all year around. Kinda along the lines that we always want our kids to learn something new each day all of their lives...why stop. I do take some breaks...like in August...between Thanksgiving and New Year(our big break) and a few weeks in spring. :) We are doing homework each day in Florida right now on a business trip with my hubby. Noah is loving the sunshine!
