Grace like Rain

Can you feel it?!

It is pouring down all over you! Look up, close your eyes, taste it on your lips, and then take a drink from the only source that can satisfy your deepest longings.

God's grace is like rain pouring down all over me and my stains are COMPLETELY and TOTALLY washed away.

Nora still incubated

'Under the lights' with CPAP--Nora
'Under the lights' with CPAP--Hannah

Nora still under lights but with only a nasal cannula
First time we could stretch the wires far enough so I could hold them together. They are about a month old here and Hannah is 2lbs 9oz and Nora 3lbs 2oz...I wish the picture could really show how small they are...if you look at my arms and picture on your own arms how long they were, it is amazing.
Holding Hannah 'wireless' for the first time---It was WONDERFUL. It felt 'normal'...I waited for that moment for so long.

This brings back so many memories! My girls developed TTTS (Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome) while I was pregnant, and I was referred to a high-risk OB pretty early on in the pregnancy. Thankfully the TTTS stayed at a stage 1 (or fairly mild) througout the pregnancy, and I was able to keep the girls in until 33-1/2 weeks. Leah was 4 lbs 13 oz at birth, and Lily was 3 lbs 10 oz (though she lost a LOT after she was born due to her other medical issues). After birth, Leah did very well, and was only hospitalized for 3 weeks, but Lily had several issues, and ended up being hospitalized 6 months. The lights, the CPAP, and wires are very familiar to me......
