Grace like Rain

Can you feel it?!

It is pouring down all over you! Look up, close your eyes, taste it on your lips, and then take a drink from the only source that can satisfy your deepest longings.

God's grace is like rain pouring down all over me and my stains are COMPLETELY and TOTALLY washed away.

Just for YOU- JENNA!

Yes, my girls DO watch TV...and eat while watching sometimes too! It is very normal to see piles of laundry on my couch waiting for me to fold, and my floor is always full of blankets, books, and misc toys, if not more.
My kitchen table has looked like this for over a month!
My desk ALWAYS looks like this and yes it does frustrate me but I just don't get to it like I would like.
This is just a taste of what you DON'T see....I will make a point of sending out something like this more often, maybe that will help?

Rebecca, this is awesome! Thanks for sharing, you just made my day!..often we neglect to share the messier sides of our lives, and I wonder if I am all alone in piles of laundry, papers, school books and the days latest indoor fort building.
I don't know Jenna, but I just wanted to share that I appreciate you documenting your mess! :)

This is real life. I appreciate your openness. It does seems cozy to me, though: snacks, blankets, tv, books, laundry, and all the rest.

YAY! It's not just me! I think it's gotten worse since I started homeschooling, and I KNOW things got worse because we've all been so sick all winter (2 hospitalizations in 2 weeks didn't help either). Hopefully summer will be my time to get caught up with my laundry and "piles."

OK- this WOULD make me feel better IF I didn't have the same piles and messes at my house. So, I not only have the same messy house (laundry is my archenemy), but I STILL don't do all the fun and creative things you all do! What DO we do all day??? Is it possible that this made me feel WORSE? :)

It's ok- I'm going to buy my kids some rubber boots, and we're going outside one of these days to stomp around in some mud somewhere whether they like it or not!!

Ok, Ok, I'll keep reading your blog, as long as you throw in the "Jenna" moments now and then! :) I still nominate you for Super Mom!!

It was great to see you last week!
Love,
Jenna
