Grace like Rain

Can you feel it?!

It is pouring down all over you! Look up, close your eyes, taste it on your lips, and then take a drink from the only source that can satisfy your deepest longings.

God's grace is like rain pouring down all over me and my stains are COMPLETELY and TOTALLY washed away.

September

Cooler days are here. The summer clothes have made their way into storage (I am usually not that quick, but the girls dress themselves and I was sick of having to tell them to change into something warmer every morning) Park visits are becoming more frequent--less crowds, the slides are not burning hot, and I am trying to capture every beautiful day before the snow arrives. I am having to daily remind myself of WHY I homeschool, not get stuck to an unrealistic schedule, let my girls play and imagine whenever they feel the need, teach in a natural/fun way throughout my daily routine, slow down--and enjoy. Some day I hope to find my groove, but for now it seems every day is an experiment, and every day I am seeing my faults and am trying to adjust to meet the needs-- of all-- in a better way.

thank goodness kids are so forgiving...and thank God He gives me a new day-- to start over--every day.

You homeschool to guide and guard the hearts of your little ones. You are teaching them new things each day by letting them imagine, try new things, pretend, play together and through living out the Christian life in front of them. Don't be discouraged. I know...it's easy to feel like you've not done enough some days. Winter is on the way and there will be many days spent inside, cuddled up reading books and doing book work.

You know I love your pictures! The girls are just too precious. :)

It's a hard committment - to live as you teach; to guide and train and be the example. But you are so right... tomorrow is always a new day. A new start. A new opportunity to show the girls something new that God is teaching you. What a gift!

And, of course, these shots are great! Love the ones in the tunnel!

Smiles,
Amanda:)
