Grace like Rain

Can you feel it?!

It is pouring down all over you! Look up, close your eyes, taste it on your lips, and then take a drink from the only source that can satisfy your deepest longings.

God's grace is like rain pouring down all over me and my stains are COMPLETELY and TOTALLY washed away.

Camping

This is a huge post. There were just too many pictures to pick from (the rest will be on facebook). It was a great trip...even with all the rain. We arrived Thursday afternoon. It was a COLD first night and I didn't get much sleep because I worried about the girls being warm enough and checked them over and over again. Our friends, the Laurencios, were there first thing in the morning to share the campsite with us--and then the rain started. It is a lot of work--camping with kids--I felt as if I never sat down, but it was worth it...It rained a lot but we still had a great time surrounded by the fall beauty, friends and family.

a lot of games

(Hannah sneakin' a peek at Nora's cards)

trying to dry clothes whenever there was a chance.some rest, not much, but some...The one thing they ALL fought over.

comfort foods cooking all day'the look'--that I fear boys will get
a constant state of playplaying in the rain
right behind our campsite...when we weren't listening to the rain--we listened to the music of the river.

"I just loved camping mom, when can we go again?" ---Exactly what I wanted to hear.

Fair

Wednesday night we packed the car for our camping trip...Thursday was a beautiful fall day, we were up and out early to first make a stop at the Deerfield Fair.

Fair was fun, a bit crowded for a Thursday, but still enjoyable. (I was able to get my $4 donut that I look for year after year--that makes it worth it). We left around 1 to head up north to our camping spot....weather--BEAUTIFUL!
