My sis, Michelle, was up for the wedding. It was great to have time to hang with her again.

My little cousin married on Sat. It was a beautiful wedding on the ocean, with perfect overcast skies and the rumble of thunder through the entire ceremony.

From being down south with my sister, to the dreadful stomach bug...right into VBS... (along with my sister being up visiting as well)....I just can't find a moment.

Need help keeping your bathroom floors clean?!

Why not let your poor sick child get 'sick' on them multiple times a day, I am sure you won't have a choice but to scrub them 2 or 3 times a day, if not more, but that is only if you are lucky.
Yes, the dreadful stomach bug (day 8 to be exact). I came home from my sisters with Nora already 2 days into it and it has been non-stop ever since. Thankfully I was well rested coming into this, or I may just be in tears right now. Very long days...very long nights...and cleaning up things I never thought would be possible. God is just so great, to allow me to experience sleep, in a way that I have not experienced it for 7 yrs, right before shaking hands with this nasty bug.
We all needed our fill of cuddles anyway and I think we are getting just that....I must get back to Season 3 episode 7 of Little House on the Prairie.

Sister fun

My sweet, little sister, Michelle, put together this HUGE surprise for me. She flew me down to her house for 4 whole days to RELAX and she completely spoiled me. For months she had been telling me that she was coming to visit me. So here I am, Tuesday, writing out my foodlist, because I was expecting Shell and Ross to be here soon....I was 'stressin' a bit thinking of everything I wanted to get done, and then Kevin shows me the plane ticket. I was so confused it took quite a while to process what was really going on...that hours from then I would be hopping on a plane--Completely ALONE! My sweet husband just kept telling me to relax, not to worry about a thing, and to rest as much as possible. My brother in-law, Ross, left for a friends house the entire time I was there so it was just girl time...girl movies, sleeping in, coffee, smoothies, wraps, shopping shopping shopping, and she even sent me to the SPA for HOURS!!! It was truly amazing and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful sister who would put that much time, energy, and money into trying to make life a bit easier for me. LOVE YOU MICHELLE!!!

--thanks also to Kevin and my mom who carried on with life for me while I was away...I returned to a clean house, kids that were well taken care of, flowers, chocolate cake, homemade cards, and much more!!!! (which also includes a nasty stomach bug, but hate to ruin this post with that)

The Ant and the Grasshopper

Emma's first big production with Drama Kids International.
Emma has been taking Drama since last fall and she loves it! This Spring we moved her from the 4 and 5 yr old class to the 5-9 class and she just had her first Spring production at the Nashua Court Street Theater.
Emma was the Child Ant and she did a wonderful job with her lines (which she SHOUTED to make sure she was heard).
She loves the stage and is looking forward to fall to start back up again.
