Grace like Rain

Can you feel it?!

It is pouring down all over you! Look up, close your eyes, taste it on your lips, and then take a drink from the only source that can satisfy your deepest longings.

God's grace is like rain pouring down all over me and my stains are COMPLETELY and TOTALLY washed away.

Paw-Paw's cows

Here are Hannah and Nora driving Paw-Paw's truck. They had a blast--they can't do this kind of stuff at home.

Above is Emma and Paw-Paw on his tractor

Playing in Kev's parent's yard

So, the girls have never experienced having this kind of yard. Well, actually I have never experienced that either, spending many years in a fenced in yard. I told them they could just run and they sure did as you will see below. Then Kevin took out his dad's 'toy' and took the girls for rides.

Here they are, just running---they made it all the way down to the house. You can see Emma down there if you look up close.

This is behind his parents house---a lot of woods so we went exploring for a while.

DAY 7,8, and 9--Animals

These are just animal shots. We stopped at two different 'farms'--friends of Kevin's dad--and the girls were able to see their animals. These are baby goats....soooo cute. The girls loved them. That same farm also had some horses and Golden Retriever puppies---the puppies were gorgeous, SO....we bought one. The price was awesome---$150 for a pure pup, when up here there would be no way we could get one under $500. At first we thought we were getting a girl (we didn't pick it up till we left) so the girls wanted to name her Genevieve (after the dog on Madeline) but we found out it was a boy so the girls right away wanted to name him Pepito (after the boy on Madeline--they are just stuck on that book) So, his name is Pepito--you will see pictures later.
Nora below getting snuffled by the horse

Pictures below are from a different place...this farm had a donkey and a dog--the girls had more fun with the dog.

Day 7

Visiting with Grandma Nora! The girls were a bit confused. Just being with their Nanna, who is blind and then coming to see Grandma Nora who can't hear..."do I need to go closer and stick my hands out or talk loud??"

Day 6

So, we left TN and headed over to NC. Pictures below of the girls and I were taken when we were crossing over the border of TN into NC, it was a beautiful drive. Pictures above and below are at the Hampton in NC--the girls getting settled into the hotel.

Day 4 in TN

My very good friend Stephanie and her 5 girls---yeah, 5 GIRLS...she looks too young to have 5 girls, right?! Well, anyway, they came to visit us at the cabin as well and spent the night with us. It was very nice seeing them all again and my girls just LOVED being with her girls.
