Play date...making dinner with dad

I took the girls out for a play date with Robin and her crew but we had a time mistake and only saw them for about 15 min. The girls had fun though, they do better when there are less people around and they have my attention.
So, the picture below started out as something funny but of course it ended with screaming--Emma was having fun though.
Below Emma and Dad are rolling meatballs for me. It has been AGES since we have had meat to eat. After we 'went organic' organic meat is just SO expensive so we have just gone without since last summer but on vacation Kevin's dad sent us home with one of his cows, yes I know that sounds gross, but it is a healthy cow--no hormones, etc....So, it has been nice having some meat back in our diet.
